God of the Broken Video

God of the Broken Video

Sin is not only separating us from God, but it's also where God meets, forgives, and redeems us.  It's something I can't describe, other than sharing who God is, thanks to the words He gave us.  It seems some have to hit rock bottom to give their life over to Jesus.  Look what happened to Saul, who become Paul.
I know that if God had not laid it on my heart of my sin, comparing myself to others of being better than them, I would have never gave my life to Jesus.  So overall, it's a blessing that God had me realize I have sin, so that I came to know and want to follow Him.  I pray this makes sense.

Jesus Friend of Sinners by Casting Crowns w/ Lyrics

Jesus wants us to know we need Him, that's it.  God is good!  Just remember "God is good" and your faith will only grow stronger in HIM.  He loves us so much!

Jesus Came for The Sinners, and I am a Sinner

Wow, God is teaching and talking with me so much right now, I am so amazed and in awe of how much he loves me.  I'm so thankful He loves me so much because I am His, and not because of anything I have done. He simply loves me.  He truly deserves us to show mercy over sacrifice.  I so many times see people tell what they are against, things they hate.

I have done so many sins myself, God is teaching me to look at my own faults, and then stay in His Presence and He his working on my so much, I have a lot of problems I still haven't given all to Him  (been asking HIM to teach me how to love Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength) because I know if I can do that, He will give me His power to love my neighbor as myself, and these are where mercy will bring about the sacrifice, a true heart for God:

I have done so many things wrong--sinned, and deep down, I point fingers to try and make myself feel better.  This is so wrong of me, and yet God forgives me over and over, giving more grace each and every day.  And I know it's wrong when I pay attention to the Holy Spirit convicting me to make it right by repenting and asking forgiveness.

This reminds me of how God says he came for the sick, the broken hearted, not those who are righteous.  Lately, I have seen so many who are saying things they hate in the news, media, etc.  What if instead of distancing ourself from the people, love them like God loves us.  We hate the sin, not the sinner.  Those who know Christ, it's the best feeling ever, when you find out Jesus loves YOU, simply YOU, not because of the good things you have done, but because you are His.  That's it!  Imangine if we loved others because they are God's, that's it!
13Then Jesus went out to the lakeshore again and taught the crowds that were coming to him. 14As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed him.
15Later, Levi invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. (There were many people of this kind among Jesus’ followers.) 16But when the teachers of religious law who were Phariseesb saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?c
17When Jesus heard this, he told them, Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” (Mark 2: 13-17)
He is here to help those who realize they are sinners, and need God.  I am so thankful God revealed to me that I need Him.
1Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. 3As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.
4“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”
6They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” 8Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.
9When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”
11“No, Lord,” she said.
And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” (John 8: 1-11)
Amazing how we change when we realize we need God because we are sinner, God reveals to us to be compassionate, loving, showing grace and mercy as He continually does for us.  So let's start loving everyone, because guess what, God loves us, no matter what we have or have not done!  He simply loves us because we are His!

Going to post two additional posts with videos that hope help you to see what God is teaching me.
